About The Position

We are seeking a results-oriented Recruiter to join our team, serving as an ambassador by attracting compassionate, skilled professionals to our mission. This role requires a high level of customer service excellence for both internal stakeholders (hiring managers) and external stakeholders (candidates). The ideal candidate must be capable of working independently, managing a high-demand process, and driving recruitment forward while embodying the Living Innovations Mission and Values. Crucially, you must be willing to travel for events and maintain strong working relationships with our offices throughout Northern Maine, ensuring our commitment to exceptional care is reflected in every hire across the region. This is an entry level position with semi regular travel to Northern, Central and Eastern Maine.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with the IDD population
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead discussions or present material to groups of people
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Work and Excell
  • Valid state issued driver’s license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies

Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit qualified candidates for various positions within our organization.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a positive recruiting experience.
  • Assist with the marketing of Living Innovations’ programs and services both in assigned communities and at company events.
  • Submit required documents and reports to supervisor as requested.
