About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Direct Hire Recruiter to join our team at Surge Staffing. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for direct, temp or temp to hire placement opportunities within the light industrial sector, including manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to match high-quality candidates with long-term career opportunities. Pay: Based on Experience!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1 year of recruiting experience or coordinating experience
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills using job boards, social media, and other recruiting tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience placing candidates in direct hire roles, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or distribution is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for direct hire, temporary or temporary to hire placements, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates
  • Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and company culture
  • Proactively source qualified candidates using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and internal databases
  • Conduct candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and overall fit
  • Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates and provide timely feedback and follow-up
  • Negotiate offers and guide candidates through the hiring process to successful placement
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients, branches and candidates
  • Provide a high level of customer service and act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process
