About The Position

The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and attract high-quality candidates to support production and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of recruiting strategies, sourcing techniques, and interviewing methods
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (JazzHR preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and hiring priorities
  • Develop and post job advertisements on platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other relevant job boards
  • Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Administer and evaluate pre-employment assessments where applicable
  • Conduct reference checks and support background screening processes
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for high-turnover and critical roles
  • Utilize proactive sourcing techniques for hard-to-fill positions (e.g., maintenance technicians, skilled labor)
  • Partner with local workforce development agencies
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws (including EEO and OFCCP if applicable)
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support affirmative action and reporting requirements
  • Promote Weckworth Manufacturing as an employer of choice
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional interactions
  • Support onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee workflow.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
