About The Position

This position is responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts across assigned plant location(s) and departments, supporting a wide range of positions from administrative staff through mid-level management. Key responsibilities include managing job requisitions, sourcing and evaluating candidates, advising hiring managers, extending offers, and coordinating relocation activities. Sourcing, Pipelines & External Partnerships Identify, evaluate, and continuously improve sourcing channels to ensure effectiveness, and alignment with business initiatives. Processes job requisitions for assigned vacancies. Partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition to determine and execute appropriate advertising/social media outlets to source candidates for open positions, builds a robust candidate pipeline that is aligned with affirmative action goals and utilization benchmarks. Visit offsite locations and attend recruiting events to promote open positions and build pipeline. (i.e. universities, colleges, other partners.) End-to-End Recruitment Execution Reviews all applications and resumes, utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS); contacts qualified candidates to schedule interviews. Conducts telephone or in person screening interviews. Initiate, maintain relationships and represent the organization and with local universities, industry associations, and professional networks to build pipelines for high volume, specialized and skilled labor pools. Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, developing and extending offers, negotiation, and closing. Coordinates drug screens and background checks resolve discrepancies in accordance with policy, and support onboarding activities. Develops and maintains positive relationships with hiring managers. Recommends and refers qualified candidates to hiring manager. Schedules and coordinates on-site interviews. Actively manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure a consistent, positive, and transparent process for all candidates, including salary negotiations and onboarding. Process Improvement, Analytics & Systems Track and analyze recruitment metrics like time-to-hire and cost-per-hire to optimize the recruitment process. Responsible for maintaining various records, files and reports. Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations This role has the responsibility to understand, and place in practice, appropriate safety procedures.  This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws. Identify opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency, and scalability of recruiting processes; recommend enhancements and implement approved changes. Perform other duties as assigned. Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively, as well as work on several open requisitions simultaneously
  • Experience with various sourcing strategies in a recruitment environment, including direct sourcing, networking, referrals, social media, professional associations and alumni groups.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Comfortable making decision independently
  • Sound judgement and critical thinking skills are an asset
  • BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high volume recruiting strongly preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or related industry a plus but not required
  • Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Certification a plus but not required
