About The Position

Audubon is currently seeking a Recruiter to join our team in our Houston, TX Office.  The Recruiter reports to the HR Director, is responsible executing the corporate and college recruiting needs of the company, performing full lifecycle recruiting and maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, current and potential employees to ensure hiring needs are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 5+ years’ experience.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting.
  • Experience with Direct, Temp, and Temp to Perm placement.
  • Understanding of recruiting life cycle.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Poise and credibility to interface frequently all level of employees and candidates.
  • Outstanding client support skills, ensuring relations with colleges and vendors are well maintained.
  • Self-initiative and strong sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in working independently and within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to consistently provide accurate and timely work product.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others in all levels of the corporation.
  • Shrewd attention to detail is required.
  • Aptitude to react to changing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Database, Applicant tracking and Recruiting Software programs.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with recruiting needs, collaborate with hiring manager to have pulse on their hiring needs and anticipated department growth.
  • Creates requisitions for positions.
  • Posts positions on external job boards as required. Pre- screens candidates for positions according to qualifications needed.
  • Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between all level of candidates and hiring managers.
  • Solicits feedback from hiring managers on candidates.
  • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates.
  • Extends offers of employment to selected candidates.
  • Works with external agencies to review and present their candidates to hiring managers.
  • Negotiates staffing agreements with external Staffing agencies.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with company’s leaders, preferred staffing agencies and colleges to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
  • Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and written form, and in timeliness.
  • Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates.
  • Keep track of all open positions, reporting
  • Other duties as required.
