About The Position

Herzog Contracting Corp. is seeking a dedicated and energetic Recruiter to join their team in St. Joseph, MO. This role involves managing the full-cycle recruiting process, from attracting applicants to onboarding new hires, while promoting the company's culture and reputation. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and will be responsible for sourcing candidates for various positions across the organization.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree and/or HR experience preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Applicant Tracking Systems experience preferred.
• A construction, engineering, or transportation background is a plus.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company's leading reputation and culture.
• Involved with the full-cycle recruiting process - applicant to onboarding as a new hire.
• Recruit for a wide variety of positions including professional, skilled trades/craft, construction, and operations.
• Develop collaborative relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their specific talent needs.
• Maintain timely and meaningful communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Determine appropriate sourcing strategies including posting jobs, database searches, networking, promoting job/profile pages, etc.
• Maintain accurate applicant/job information in the applicant tracking system.
• Provide guidance related to the market and the candidate pipeline, as well as interview and selection best practices.
• Attend job fairs and college career events.
• Engage in and promote Herzog's Culture and its essential behaviors.
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
