About The Position

The Recruiter position at Howmet Aerospace involves providing comprehensive recruiting and HR operational support for a multishift manufacturing group of approximately 850 non-union employees. Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources/recruiting experience.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR, SPHR & MBA certifications are a plus.
  • Human Resources Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and connect at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience working with Excel and Oracle HRIS.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recruiting and HR operational support for a manufacturing group.
  • Assist in the implementation of Howmet Aerospace's value and policy statement.
  • Comply with all EH&S regulations and report job-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting for salaried and hourly positions.
  • Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and professional networks.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to select the best fit for roles.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Prepare and extend job offers to candidates and negotiate terms.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to onboarding.
  • Assist with new employee orientation for all Dover, NJ hires.
  • Create and modify job descriptions within all departments.
  • Manage Affirmative Action reporting.
  • Assist with workforce reductions and administer layoffs as needed.
