About The Position

The Recruiter position at Information Consultants is a full-time, contract role focused on talent acquisition within the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies, engage with diverse talent pools, and enhance the company's ability to attract high-performing candidates. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with leadership and advising on critical hiring needs, all while promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of experience in full cycle recruiting within a large corporate environment.
  • Experience recruiting high volume hourly and salaried positions.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Workday.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Proven ability to attract and recruit diverse pools of talent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hands-on experience using Workday as an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ability to demonstrate rapport-building skills in recruiting assignments.
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP requirements, employment laws, and hiring practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse personalities.
  • Excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Partners to develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Engage with HR Partners and business leaders to understand hiring trends and anticipate hiring needs.
  • Conduct regular communication with hiring managers to provide updates and respond to questions.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to ensure background checks and contingencies are progressing.
  • Develop strategic search strategies to maintain a passive talent pipeline.
  • Advise managers on candidate engagement and what a great candidate looks like.
  • Champion diversity in the organization and support strategies for a diverse candidate slate.
  • Screen talent pools to confirm qualifications and job fit.
  • Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts.
  • Identify potential internal candidates for select roles.
  • Lead initiatives that drive hiring efficiencies and improvements.
  • Promote the company brand as an Employer of Choice.
  • Attend career fairs and recruiting events as needed.
  • Assist with other recruitment tasks and related projects.
