About The Position

As a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be a vital part of our Talent Acquisition (TA) team, consulting with Hiring Managers/Business Leaders, developing and executing talent strategies, effectively identifying, and engaging with candidates, always keeping an eye on delivering the best experience for stakeholders, and positioning IEM as the employer of choice. This is a proactive posting to build a talent pool for headcount and temporary contractor openings that are expected to come available before the end of the year and/or in Q1 2026.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of similar talent acquisition experience in a corporate setting.
  • Electrical distribution and control systems manufacturing industry experience or similar industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to assess candidates’ motivations, qualifications, and potential.
  • General knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations.
  • Flexible and adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, multi-tasking, organizational, follow-up and negotiating skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high growth startup-type environment and experience in a mature corporate environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a search firm/agency in a client and candidate management capacity.
  • 10 plus years of similar talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience with Greenhouse and/or comparable ATS/CRM systems.
  • Employer branding / social recruiting expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Exceptionally partners with Hiring Managers/Business leaders and HR colleagues, helping to meet overall business and talent goals.
  • Develops and executes macro and micro talent acquisition strategies.
  • Educates and influences hiring managers and stakeholders to follow talent acquisition policies and practices.
  • Sets expectations and regularly communicates with all stakeholders.
  • Identifies, attracts, and assesses talent efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborates with business leaders and HR colleagues on new hire onboarding, employee experience, and retention.
  • Leverages data to influence and drive decision making.
  • Evaluates labor market conditions and shares insights with stakeholders.
  • Looks for opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations.
