Department: 640 Corporate Human Resource Job Summary: The recruiter position is responsible for recruiting, screening and placement by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external) for retail, clerical and administrative job vacancies. The incumbent must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all retail, clerical and administrative required skill set, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure, benefits and bank culture as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.   • In-House certification for non-retail and retail programs such as Top Sales Achievers (TSA), Teller Sales Program (TSP) and Sales Recognition Program (SRP) programs

Responsibilities

  • Develops effective recruitment strategies for a consistent flow of applicants to achieve optimum staffing levels for the bank.
  • Promotes IBC as an employer of choice during recruitment initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains a network of professional relationships with higher education placement centers, trade associations, and one-stop centers.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs and job expos with bank representatives as needed.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs, employee referrals, social media, business expos, community network events, etc to identify and attract quality candidates and ensure a consistent flow of applicants
  • Effectively manages applicant interview appointments utilizing Workday functionality.
  • Maintains proper documentation and disposition of interviews.
  • Ability to conduct entry level candidate screening and hiring manager interviews in accordance hiring guidelines, if needed.
  • Conducts reference checks on potential employment candidates.
  • Ensures all types of communication venues are utilized to contact applicants for potential interview (phone, email, reference contact, facebook contact, etc).
  • Responsible for obtaining follow up updates on candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback.
  • Ability to communicates important employment information during interview process, if necessary (e.g. benefits, career opportunity, etc).
