About The Position

The Human Resources position based in Moon Township, PA, is primarily focused on recruiting success by collaborating closely with hiring managers to fill approved job opportunities. The role involves sourcing, researching, screening, and interviewing potential candidates. The HR professional will develop recruiting plans, utilizing traditional sourcing strategies and resources while also creating new, innovative recruiting methods. Engaging social media platforms to attract candidates and promote the advantages of employment with Heritage Valley is a key responsibility. The position ensures compliance with all steps of the employment process and acts as a liaison to hiring managers, serving as a consultant in all hiring decisions. Additionally, the role facilitates all phases of the onboarding process and employee orientation program. Beyond recruiting, the HR representative will work closely with other HR team members on matters related to compensation, benefits, training/development, and employee relations to maintain accurate employee records and assist with process improvements. The position also provides support for various projects and programs within the Human Resources department as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years current experience in a recruiting and/or generalist role.
  • Broad understanding of HR functions.
  • Experience with social media platforms for recruitment purposes (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Professional and effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospital/healthcare recruiting experience.
  • Experience in a collective bargaining environment.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources.
