About The Position

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Marketing & Foundation, this position supports recruitment and enrollment by promoting the college's academic programs and resources. The Recruiter/Onboarding Advisor seeks to increase awareness of educational opportunities offered by the college, and support students in navigating the admissions process. This is a full-time, temporary position through June, 2026.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Communication and data management systems
  • Knowledge of College programs, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
  • Ability to Communicate effectively (written and verbal) in a variety of settings, with people from diverse backgrounds, educational levels, and age groups.
  • Ability to Operate a PC, mobile devices, and related software. Use Microsoft Office (word processing, database, presentation, spreadsheets), and relevant applications or internet-based platforms.
  • Ability to Provide accurate and appropriate information to students, employees and visitors.
  • Ability to Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, administrators, coworkers, and the public.
  • Ability to Prioritize and complete projects and tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Represents the College for recruitment activities, college events, and other outreach opportunities, both on and off campus.
  • Facilitates campus tours for prospective students, secondary education partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Provides direct support for students and families throughout the admissions, financial aid, and enrollment processes.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with local schools, community organizations, and businesses.
  • Develops outreach strategies to increase enrollment among underserved populations.
  • Partners with internal departments (admissions, advising, financial aid, marketing) to ensure responsive communication and services.
  • Tracks and monitors recruitment activities, outreach outcomes, and enrollment trends.
  • Participates in relevant professional development opportunities.
  • Serves on institutional committees as appointed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the College's mission.
