Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sales/recruiting or related experience; specializing in Clinical Research and Operations.
  • Experience recruiting for both contract and direct hire/permanent placement opportunities.
  • Familiar with MS-Office Products/Suite, Applicant tracking systems, internet-based search tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to build and foster relationships internally and externally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Eager to learn and proactively works to gain an understanding of typical job requisitions within the Clinical Research vertical.
  • Exploits all available sourcing techniques, including Orbis’ internal database, writing Boolean search strings, searching job boards, as well as networking and other passive recruiting techniques.
  • Actively on the phones throughout the day building relationships and networking with potential candidates to identify and prescreen talent for roles at our clients, as well as obtaining candidate referrals and business development market intel; minimum of 40 outbound calls a day.
  • Prescreens and interviews candidates to confirm they meet the requirements of the job requisition and can speak to their experience.
  • Drives the interview process forward with high sense of urgency, triaging competing priorities, navigating challenging calendars, and influencing stakeholders when needed
  • Provide transparent, empathetic updates to candidates, understanding subtleties in hiring process and interpreting tone of communications.
  • Manages candidate expectations and educations candidates on background screening process; ensure they are clear on expectations for each client they interview with prior to interviewing.
  • Conducts and verifies employment references.
  • Build extremely strong, collaborative relationships across the Orbis Clinical Team and work side by side with Business Development Team to extend offers and support the client needs.
  • Enter and maintain relevant candidate data within Orbis’ database, ensuring data integrity through real-time tracking and data accuracy.
  • Checks in every 2 weeks with Orbis’ Consultants
  • Meet or exceed the expectations for the recruiting role based off your level of experience.
  • Provide real time updates to the Business Development Manager’s and Recruiting Managers on their open requisitions and the recruiting activities completed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment, celebrating wins of the team and learning from mistakes, while being accountable for weekly and monthly goals.
