About The Position

In this role, the ideal candidate develops and implements a wide variety of Recruitment activities to meet patient and organizational needs. Recommends new programs to the Human Resources Department and develops written proposals as needed. Conducts interviews and other pre-screening recruitment activities for various departments in the organization, and refers applicants to Managers as appropriate. Establishes systems that provide for routine follow-up of all applicants and ensures that appropriate action is taken within a reasonable time frame. Identifies policies, benefits, etc., which may positively or adversely impact on recruitment activities and advises appropriate personnel of the same. Develops recommendations as to needed changes in these areas to meet Recruitment needs. Participates in activities specifically designed to improve retention and reduce turnover. Maintains contact with recently hired staff. Solicits feedback and assists in implementing changes as needed. Periodically rounds on departments recruiting for to identify issues in Recruitment and ensure their needs are being met. Recommends policies and procedural changes to help minimize turnover. Acts as a resource person to various new hires for problem resolution related to Human Resources areas. Identifies advertising needs and recommends the most effective method for soliciting resumes including assisting in the development of print ads and posting jobs online.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum two to three years' Recruitment experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
