Hours will vary between 8 am-5 pm Tuesday-Saturday, or Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based upon business needs. Requirements

  • Experience in RV, automotive, marine, or HVAC repair (preferred but not required)
  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for customer service and problem-solving
  • The RV Technician / Mechanic must be organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Considerable knowledge of: Methods, materials, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Considerable knowledge of: Diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs.
  • Considerable knowledge of: Safety practices and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of: Paint and body work.
  • Working knowledge of: Mechanical design and fabrication.
  • Working knowledge of: Electrical systems, including computerized induction/ignition systems.
  • Skill in: Use of power and hand tools.
  • Skill in: Use of diagnostic equipment.
  • Skill in: Operation of vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ability to: Work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to: Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to: Work extended hours out of doors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to: Prepare and maintain records and reports.
  • Ability to: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public.
  • Ability to: Follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturers’ service specifications.
  • Ability to: Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Experience and/or training in recreational vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
