About The Position

Piedmont Eastside, PRN RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performs safe, effective therapeutic patient care. Demonstrates expertise in patient assessment treatment planning, treatment implementation, & documentation. Knowledgeable in the organization & demonstration of Recreation Therapy programs that focus on self-awareness, self-expression, social, cultural, & recreation development. Performs as part of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy or related field required
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS)
• Certification CPI certification within the first 90 days of employment required

Nice To Haves

• Masters in Recreation Therapy or related field preferred
• Recreation Therapy experience preferred, experience in related fields considered.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred, or Certification as Art Therapist.
