About The Position

Recreational Therapist - Recreational Therapy Department working at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, employed by Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the Recreational Therapist plan, direct, and coordinate recreation programs for people with disabilities or illnesses to assist with maintaining or improving the patient's physical and emotional well-being. The Recreational Therapist will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times. Requirements

• Coursework/Training: Graduated from an accredited Recreational Therapy program.
• Upon hire: Washington Recreational Therapist Registration
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
