The Ridge Behavioral Health System is a 110-bed hospital offering psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Our specialized treatment services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, and activity therapists. Visit us online: https://ridgebhs.com The Recreational Therapist is responsible for:developing and implementing recreational therapy treatment plans and attends the interdisciplinary treatment team meetings; providing therapy consistent with level of growth, development, age, and functioning; contributing to program design within the recreational therapy department. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation required.
- Certification as a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist) required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous inpatient mental health experience preferred.
