As a Recreational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in this mission by participating in the planning, coordination, and implementation of therapeutic groups and individual treatment plans as defined in each patient's Person Center Plan of Service. Your responsibilities will include conducting Recreation Therapy assessments, identifying treatment goals and interventions, administering treatment, and documenting patient responses to treatment and progress related to activity therapy goals for each patient assigned to your caseload. In this position, you will actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team for your assigned unit(s) and will be expected to perform the full scope of duties of a Treatment Coordinator as assigned. This role requires a commitment to ensuring that all patients receive the highest quality of care through tailored recreational therapy interventions that meet their individual needs. You will be expected to engage with patients in a manner that promotes their dignity, respect, and fairness, aligning with the department's commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
