About The Position
Under the guidance of the Recreation Supervisor, the Recreation Program Assistants create, plan, and implement program and office support on Department-wide special events and programs on and off site of Berks County Parks. Hours vary - must be available weekdays, weekends and weeknights. Must have excellent people and customer service skills, as well as a strong work ethic. The ability to problem solve, adapt to changing situations, and a willingness to learn are necessary. Must be able to work independently, plan, implement and follow-through with responsibilities. Must also enjoy working outside, in all types of weather.
