About The Position

A role responsible for the maintenance and care of garden, including tasks like planting, weeding, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and overall upkeep of plants, shrubs, and trees, while ensuring the aesthetic appeal and health of the garden area, often utilizing gardening tools and equipment like mowers, trimmers, and hand tools. Clean-up and debris removal of the garden may also include removing leaves, clippings and other debris from the garden. This role will enforce and follow safety protocols for all gardening activities.

Requirements

Currently attending high school, graduation from an high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma
Applicant must possess a valid Florida driver’s license or state ID.
Knowledge of plant identification, growth habits, and care requirements
Experience with various gardening techniques including pruning, propagation, and pest management
Ability to operate and maintain gardening equipment safely
Physical stamina for outdoor work, including lifting, bending, and kneeling
Attention to detail and aesthetic sense for creating visually appealing gardens
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
