About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Assists with recreational activities, parties, and special events in the community
  • Assists with the coordination of all travel arrangements, including transportation, lodging, and activities
  • Travels with individuals and staff on vacation as needed
  • Acts as community liaison to develop and implement volunteer, employment, learning, and recreational opportunities for individuals.
  • Communicates well with others including staff and our individuals
  • Support our individuals direct care needs including, but not limited to: getting dressed, assisting with baths and showering, toileting and hygiene needs, feeding, assist with walking and/or wheelchair mobility, and frequently lift and/or move 50-75lbs; while assisting a person with movement or direct care
