About The Position

The Recreation Supervisor will oversee daily recreational operations throughout the lodge. This role involves planning, organizing, and hosting engaging events and activities for guests, as well as supervising and operating social spaces, including the beer garden, to ensure a safe, compliant, and enjoyable environment. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting recreational equipment, such as golf simulators and activity systems. A key aspect of the position is to create and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all guests, monitoring engagement and adjusting programming based on preferences and feedback. The supervisor must ensure all recreation areas are clean, organized, and fully operational, enforce safety standards, policies, and responsible service practices, and address guest concerns or conflicts with professionalism and care. Collaboration with lodge leadership is essential for continuous improvement of the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to connect with a diverse range of personalities and backgrounds
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic technical skills to operate and troubleshoot recreational equipment (golf simulators, AV systems, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in recreation, hospitality, events, or guest services preferred
  • Experience managing or overseeing social environments (bar, lounge, activity center) is a plus
