About The Position

Recreation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the pool and beach area activities. Assist with activities for families, adults, and groups of guests. Administrative duties are required and must be able to lift to 50 pounds to set and break down cabana rentals.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of pool and beach area activities.
• Assist with activities for families, adults, and groups of guests.
• Perform physical labor in harsh weather conditions.
• Move and lift heavy furniture and equipment for cabanas, lounge chairs, and pool umbrellas.
• Follow all OSHA safety rules and maintain compliance with Sonesta's policies and procedures.
• Ensure guests adhere to all safety rules.
• Handle daily administrative duties within the department.
• Supervise staff and create policies and procedures to enhance the department.
• Attend meetings and perform various assigned duties.
• Assist team with guest requests such as pool towels and rental equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck area.
