About The Position

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Responsible for planning and delivering public recreation activities within a community.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma, and 0 to 2 years of experience.
  • Time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Customer/client orientation.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Physical stamina.
  • Creativity.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
  • May be required to possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • May be required to meet and maintain periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.
  • Must be certified in CPR within 6 months and maintain throughout employment.
