This Recreation Server (On-Call) opportunity involves providing dining support for Explorer Island, the resort's recreational area. Explorer Island features a Family Pool, Splash Zone, Lazy River, The Drop, beach volleyball, basketball hoops, The Hideout gaming area, and the complimentary Kids for All Seasons program.
Requirements
- Must be available on Saturdays and Sundays
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage and working outside in a resort setting
- Able to work outside during high temperatures, and be able to stand and walk for longer than 2-4 hours
- A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
- High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team
- A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays
- Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States
Responsibilities
- Assisting and serving food, drinks and amenities to guests as they relax in our recreation areas
- Execute same level of food knowledge and sequence of service as restaurant servers
