The City of Monterey Park is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals for the part-time position of Recreation Leader within the Recreation and Community Services Department. This role is ideal for those who have a passion for people and service, and it offers an opportunity to engage with the community through various recreation programs. Recreation Leaders will be responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and assistance in a range of activities, including day camps, youth and adult sports, and special events. The position requires a commitment of approximately 25 to 35 hours per week during the summer season and 10 to 25 hours per week during the non-summer season. This is an hourly, part-time, at-will position with a starting salary of $16.24 per hour. The Parks & Recreation Department plays a vital role in fostering a healthy community by offering diverse and innovative programs and establishing broad partnerships.
