About The Position

The City of Indianola is seeking a seasonal Field Maintenance Worker for its Parks and Recreation department. Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Participates in maintenance work on sports fields and turf such as mowing, weeding, grading, raking, shoveling, and digging.
• Operates a variety of equipment including trucks, tractors, landscape equipment, shovels, rakes, and hand tools.
• Maintains and cleans sports complex fields, dugouts, walkways, and restrooms.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and makes necessary adjustments to ensure proper working order.
