About The Position

The Recreation Coordinator will provide activities of a physical, mental and spiritual nature tailored to the individual abilities, needs and desires of those we serve in order to enable them to enjoy the highest quality of life. This position is full-time, with a schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, every other Thursday from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation, Creative Arts Therapy or related field preferred.
  • Certified or eligible for certification as an Activity Director Certified - ADC within one year.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in long term care and/or dementia care preferred.
  • Current driver’s license in good standing required.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement may be required within six months of employment.
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season.
