About The Position

The City of La Vista’s Recreation department is seeking a passionate individual for a part-time Recreation Attendant position. This role offers an opportunity to make a difference in the community, create positive experiences, and be part of a great team by working with people and recreation. Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• A friendly attitude, clear communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving.
• Basic computer and math skills (money-changing included).
• First Aid and CPR certified (or you're ready to get certified once you're hired – we'll help you with that!).
• You're able to work a variety of shifts and be super dependable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with patrons of all ages, providing top-notch customer service both over the phone and in-person while ensuring everyone has an enjoyable experience at our recreational facilities.
• Help with the set-up/tear-down for events, make reservations, process registrations, handle money, and ensure the facilities remain in tip-top shape.
• Work with a variety of recreational programs and events, including fitness classes, sports leagues, and special events.
