About The Position

As a Recreation Attendant at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. You will promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for Owner/guests in all recreational activities and areas, expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude. Your role will involve providing information about available recreational facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment, encouraging and recruiting Owner/guests to participate in recreation activities, and registering and scheduling them for activities. You will also process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales. This position requires you to welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs, interact with colleagues and guests professionally, and contribute to team goals while always following company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
