About The Position

This position will be assigned to the Eglin Outdoor Recreation. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Position is Regular Part-time (RPT) guaranteed 20-34 hours per week and schedule tour of duty may include nights, weekends and holidays. Requirements

• Experience which provides a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs.
• Practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of recreational facilities.
• Follows schedules of events as well as the rules and regulations to be observed.
• Tests water-skiing and boating equipment for safe operation.
• Demonstrates safety and conservation techniques for campsites, water sports and beach areas.
• Demonstrates equipment and techniques of various outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and boating.
• Inspects outdoor recreation facilities and equipment for security and general conditions.
• Schedules campsites, cabins, boats, and other outdoor recreation equipment and areas for use.
• Collects use fees, receives funds from resale operations, performs inventory and cash handling duties.
