Recreation Assistant - River Road - Part time - $19 hourly rate - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate homelike community - (4) days per week - week-days 11:00am - 7:00pm or 12:00pm - 8:00pm including every other weekend 7am-3pm, must be flexible with scheduling and some holidays - Provide activities tailored to the individual abilities, needs and desires of residents to enable them to enjoy the highest quality of life. Parker at River Road nursing care residence Nestled in the suburban community of Piscataway, Parker at River Road is a welcoming and caring home where our employees provide personalized nursing care in a comforting environment for 79 elders. Evergreen Way, located within Parker at River Road, is an innovative memory care neighborhood, designed in the “small home” model. Our dedicated care partners provide the highest quality of care where personal preferences of the elders we serve are respected and honored. Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Current NJ driver’s license in good standing required, may be required to drive company vehicle.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment, scanner, photocopying and laminating machine, die-cut equipment, resident bus equipment and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year experience in long term care and/or dementia care preferred.
