About The Position

The City of Cody is seeking candidates for Recreation Assistant II positions: Child Care This position will assist Recreation staff with the coordination and supervision of our child care program at the Recreation Center. Duties include monitoring activities within the program, as well as assisting staff with setting up and taking down of equipment for activities and games. The employee will be responsible for the monitoring and supervision of children. The employee should expect to work approximately 10-40 hours per week, depending on the season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants at least 16 years of age are preferred. This position may assist other City divisions as assigned. The hourly wage for the Recreation Assistant II position is $14.76. Front Desk This position provides clerical and customer service duties in support of department operations. Greets and assists patrons and visitors; checks-in patrons; issues locker keys. Sales memberships and enrolls patrons in classes and activities; assesses charges for non-members. Answers telephones; provides information and assistance; refers to appropriate personnel. Balances cash, check and credit card receipts. Opens and closes Recreation Center. Cleans and maintains exercise equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. The employee should expect to work approximately 10-40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants at least 16 years.
