This is where the Life Path Assistant gets to shine! You will be in the unique position to bring joy and purpose to our residents with everyday activities built around what each individual wants—not just a large group of everyone being forced to attend the same event. Your day will include opportunities to help get residents ready for the day so they can fully-participate in the quality of life they deserve. As a C.N.A., you would provide assistance with ADL’s or other recreational activities. You will experience variety in your shifts: One day you may spend time assisting residents navigate their iPads to find new apps or games to master One day might consist of helping residents read letters they have received from loved ones or help them make a one-of-a-kind birthday card to send to their nephew. One day you may spend time in the sports (non-alcoholic) bar making Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers or watching the latest championship game or match on ESPN One day might consist of creating adaptive ways for all to enjoy painting, knitting, stenciling, or woodworking one day might consist of helping a resident complete on-line shopping or googling “games to play on a rainy day” The joy of being at QLI will offer you experience in a healthcare setting while you branch out into relationship-building with our residents and team members. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older (required)
  • Certified as a Nursing Assistant (required)
  • Must not have any condition or limitation that could pose a direct threat to self or others unless such threat can be eliminated by a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to pass a fitness assessment designated for this job title and perform all physical activities related to the position.
  • Regular attendance in your assigned role is an essential job function.
