About The Position
The APPS Job Readiness Program (AJRP) is designed to equip each participant with essential skills for personal and professional growth. As a participant, you'll engage in weekly training covering topics such as financial literacy, social-emotional learning, and more. In addition, you'll gain hands-on experience through on-site work opportunities in various career fields. Participants can work up to 20 hours per week, ensuring a balance between training and practical experience to support their development. Under general supervision, is responsible for performing a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled recreation or parks related activities on a seasonal basis; performs related duties as required.
