About The Position

Do you enjoy customer service, event preparation and recreation? We have the job for you! The Town of Farragut is hiring for Part Time Recreation and Event Attendants. Pay starts at $15.29 an hour. Must be available a variety of day shift, evening shift and weekends for 3-4 shifts a week (18-29 hours a week). The community center is open Mon-Fri 8am-9pm, Sat 8am-4pm and Sunday 1pm-4pm. Job duties include: Customer Service at Town of Farragut Community Center, preparing and working special events and recreation assistance in the gym. This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel, lifting and repetitive motions and occasionally requires climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms and pushing or pulling; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, using of measuring devices, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities; work occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
