As a Recreation Aide, you will support the Recreation Director in delivering high-quality recreational programming that promotes an active, enriching, and enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. You will assist with planning and facilitating a variety of social, cultural, and leisure activities tailored to individual interests, abilities, and preferences. Providing personalized attention and honoring resident requests are central to this role, ensuring every resident feels valued, included, and engaged. In addition, the Recreation Aide will assist with transporting residents to community events, outings, and special activities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and positive experience while representing Orchard Heights with professionalism and courtesy. Our goal is to create a welcoming, vibrant environment where residents feel connected, entertained, and supported—and where exceptional service is at the heart of everything we do.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Related education is a bonus! (i.e. social work, gerontology, education)
Responsibilities
