About The Position

As a Recreation Aide , you’ll play a vital role in supporting youth and adult sports programs and assisting with City special events. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with the community and supporting recreational activities in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Ability to keep accurate records and communicate effectively with customers.
• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• No prior experience required.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Act as official scorekeeper for youth and/or adult sport programs.
• Assist with field and equipment setup, including lining fields, setting up nets, and conducting safety checks.
• Help prepare and collect game result sheets, time sheets, and other program documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between participants and the City, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Provide staff support for special events, including carnival booths, fishing derbies, giveaways, participant check-ins, food service, and setup/takedown.
