More information about Southridge can be found online at: https://southridgebh.com/ Position Description: The Activity/Recreation Therapist is responsible to assess, educate and develop recreational, social, leisure and daily living skills. The Recreation Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing unit activity services for assigned program, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients. Hours and Location: Flexible Per Diem options, but an ideal candidate would be open to some weekend coverage each month. We are located on the south side of Grand Rapids, near the intersection of M-6 and Byron Center Ave SW: 6291 Venture Hills Boulevard SW, Byron Center, MI 49315

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• CTRS from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation or Board Certification in Art, Movement or Music Therapy.
