Learn more about Cedar Creek Hospital online at: Cedar Creek Hospital Position Description The Activity/Recreation Therapist is responsible to assess, educate and develop recreational, social, leisure and daily living skills. The Recreation Therapist is responsible for planning and implementing unit activity services for assigned program, which involves defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients. Requirements

  • CTRS Certification by National Certification Board (NCTRC) required or other Master's Level Creative Arts Therapist (Pet, Yoga, Dance and Movement, Art, Music, Drama, etc) with appropriate board certification
  • Experience in a behavioral health hospital setting preferred
