About The Position

Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTMCHC), Lawton, OK is currently recruiting for a Recovery Support Specialist to join their Mobile Response team. This position performs a wide range of tasks to assist individuals of all ages in crisis in regaining control of their lives and recovery processes. This position requires that the applicant possess the skills to maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and interactions with all ODMHSAS staff and consumers. This position provides flexibility, including opportunities for non-standard hours that include generous shift differentials for non-standard hours.

Requirements

• Currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist for Senior and Certified positions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery.
• Two years of PRSS experience for Senior Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist.
• Ability to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist for Recovery Support Specialist.
