The paid training you need to learn, grow, and succeed! Essential Functions: Respond to clients’ experiencing a mental health crisis or substance use crisis via telephone or in person. Provide shift coverage in Mobile Crisis and maintain a case load of community-based clients. Responsible for engaging, providing relapse education, and supporting clients in their recovery journey via telephone or in person. Serve as a mentor to clints and provide on-going support.Partner with clients to access the service and supports that will help individuals attain personal recovery goals. Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in the human service or social serviced required.
  • Certified Recovery Support Specialist certification required, or to be obtain within one year of date of hire.
  • Lived mental health or substance abuse experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
  • Access to reliable transportation required.

Nice To Haves

  • CADC (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor) certification preferred.
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English, preferred.
