About The Position

This individual will provide guidance and direction to residents and oversee resident activities to ensure conformance with program policies and participate in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the program milieu support the culture of recovery.

Requirements

• CPR-First Aid certification
• training in Overdose Prevention / Narcan OR ability to be trained and acquire certificate
• a demonstrated knowledge of the human services field with a special knowledge in substance use and co-occurring disorders within the Recovery Home model of treatment
• This individual must have a base of knowledge from introductory courses in addiction and co-occurring disorders as well as course experience in the skills and techniques of a Recovery Specialist

Nice To Haves

• Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC)
• Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor II (LADC-II; or LADC-Asst.) certification(s) preferred
