About The Position

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Experience with airway emergencies, (i.e. laryngospasms, airway obstruction, stridor and arrest)., upon hire and
Graduate of ICU residency with a minimum of six months ICU experience.
Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association, upon hire and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days and
Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 - months and

Nice To Haves

BSN and One year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire and
Minimum of 2 years current experience in an acute, inpatient PACU setting within the last 3 years or
Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse, upon hire or
Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse, upon hire

Responsibilities

Policy Compliance: Adheres to all hospital, safety, and regulatory standards while staying updated on industry trends.
Medication Administration: Safely administers, oversees, and documents medication (topical, oral, IV, etc.) per physician orders and policy.
Patient Care & Assessment: Provides comprehensive, holistic care by assessing needs, implementing interventions, and planning for discharge.
Competence & Communication: Delivers culturally sensitive care to specific populations using effective communication tools.
Documentation & Growth: Accurately documents care and orders using the nursing process while engaging in professional development.
