The Recovery Room is designed to help students with their behavior so they can become better learners and promote a learning environment at the school that does not allow fighting, inappropriate language, and other unacceptable behaviors. It is a positive program based upon early behavior intervention strategies which helps students gain control of their behavior, enhancing learning for themselves and all other students. Students sent to the Recovery Room do not have chronic behavior problems; they are held accountable for behavior that interrupts learning.
