Join BestCare as a Recovery Mentor for the MOMS Program! We’re seeking compassionate, reliable, and recovery-centered individuals to support pregnant clients navigating substance use disorder. In this vital role, you’ll provide peer support, mentoring, and advocacy—not as a clinician, but as someone who can offer lived experience, connection, and practical assistance. Recovery Mentors help facilitate groups and activities, offer transportation and outreach, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team—including providing Peer Doula support—to help clients move toward stability, wellness, and empowered parenting. JOB SUMMARY: Recovery Mentors are a critical part of the SUD Treatment Team and work with the MOMS Program clients who are in recovery during a pregnancy. Recovery Mentors are not counselors, clinicians, or medical providers, but provide supports to clients that counselors are not able to offer, including Peer Doula support. The Recovery Mentor works with their Supervisor to design and implement education, referral, and parenting components of the program. The Recovery Mentor is responsible for helping to facilitate classes and support groups along with group activities. They will maintain a personal recovery program, if applicable, as well as model recovery-appropriate behavior.
