SUMMARY The Float Staff position is responsible for a variety of coverage duties needed throughout RS EDEN Recovery Services programs to ensure continuity of care, high quality programming, sufficient staffing, compliance, and more. Flexibility, effective time management practices, and sound organizational skills are necessary. This position requires strong customer services skills, empathy, ability to work through crisis situations in a professional, therapeutic and positive manner. This role will provide support for the admissions team, clinical team, and compliance team. This position includes light lifting and sitting for long periods of time. This position is classified as a category 3 driving position. Pay range is $70,000-$80,000/annually

Requirements

  • Current Minnesota LADC or ADC-T license
  • Minimum Associate’s Degree in Substance Use Disorder Counseling or related field required
  • Experience or equivalent training in Comprehensive Assessments
  • Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with multiple individual and systemic barriers to success
  • Experience with working in a 245G and 245F setting
  • Ability to work independently and flex between job responsibilities
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Current Mantoux test. (Annual requirement thereafter)
  • One year off correctional supervision
  • 6-month requirement between any treatment services and employment

Responsibilities

  • Understand program elements and levels of care
  • Maintain professionalism with all teams within Recovery Services
  • Develop processes for paperwork completion when gaps are noted.
  • Disseminate accurate and current verbal and written information re: license requirements for individual programs under the clinical care scope.
  • Have a current working knowledge of the programs under clinical care purview, the scope of programs, and the various positions and license requirements of staff in programming.
  • Knowledge of the admission process and ability to support admission team when needed
  • Complete basic screening assessments for withdrawal potential and immediate medical needs and communicate needs with nursing staff and supervisor
  • Collect urinalysis and breathalyzer screenings
  • Understand all program policies and procedures
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with referring agencies and collaterals
  • Participate in staff meetings and training as required or directed
  • Maintain favorable driving record
  • Assist with treatment coordination for participants
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and provide individual support for participants in the withdrawal management program
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy/counseling services
  • Support clinical team in documentation, coverage, and participant needs when required
  • Performs other duties as required
