Position Overview: Brick House Coach/Mentor Why You'll Love This Role: Transform Lives: Engage in one-on-one and group support sessions, helping clients set and achieve their recovery goals. Your guidance will be instrumental in their journey toward a fulfilling, sober life. Support System: Be the trusted advisor available to clients at any time, whether by phone, in-person, or through other means of communication. Your presence will be a cornerstone of their recovery journey. Collaborative Treatment Planning: Work closely with a dedicated clinical team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your insights to ensure each client's plan reflects their unique strengths, needs, and abilities. Holistic Development: Lead clients through step work and goal setting, focusing on their mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. Help them gain insights into personal challenges and define actionable paths toward improvement. Crisis Intervention & Consultation: Be a first responder in times of crisis, providing immediate assistance and thoughtful consultation to ensure clients' safety and well-being. Diverse Activities: Beyond counseling, you’ll organize and implement monthly recreational and service activities, adding variety and excitement to your role. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year in inpatient, residential, outpatient, or mental health care settings. Experience with clinical and case management is highly valued.
  • A deep understanding of the twelve steps, spiritual principles of recovery, and emotional sobriety are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective client interaction and collaboration with the team.
  • Basic computer and technology skills are necessary for managing client documentation and communication.
  • Must be a sober person in recovery for at least 18 months, actively participating in a recovery program through sponsorship, meetings, and other recovery-related activities.
