Recovery Coach The primary responsibility of a recovery coach is to support the voices and choices of the people they help, removing obstacles to recovery, linking Members to a recovery community, and serve as a personal guide and mentor. The recovery coach will work with the individual to develop a Wellness Plan that orients the activities of the recovery coach's service. The recovery coach will be a part of a larger team of other recovery coaches and case managers but will also be an active interdisciplinary member of the Outpatient Center’s track of specialty clinicians, supervisors, and prescribers who serve people with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. The recovery coach will provide education to persons engaged in services but may also utilize their own recovery experience and knowledge with the entire treatment team.
